The complex temperature effect on the LED display
The LED display is very critical to the environment temperature. In theory, the most ideal working condition is under the room temperature 25℃. However the fact is that the LED display working temperature is very complicated , with the highest temperature in summer may be above 60℃, and low than -20℃ in winter. The efficiency and performance of LED and IC will not be consistent under the extreme high or low temperature, and the result is the inconsistent of the brightness of different color lights, which means a bad display effect. The red, green and blue lights decay differently. Its white balance is normal when the temperature is 25℃. However, the lights of different color will decay with different speed under two high or low temperature, and then the brightness of the screen will decline and there may be colorcast of the screen.
The working temperature range of the IC is between -40~85, As a result of cabinets outside temperature is too high, the box temperature may exceed 85 ℃, IC will become instability due to the high temperature, or drift between the different channels caused by differences between current or pieces are too large cause inconsistence of the lights, and a not perfect display effect as return. Shenzhen LEDSigns is trying to make improvements in design and process, which can effectively control the external environmental temperature effect on the final screen, and make sure that the LED displays have a perfect display effect under all the complex conditions.
